I am 16 weeks...
I've gained 7 or 8 pounds and feel pretty swollen.
the pants don't fit and i'm on a longer-than-hoped-for search for some that actually look cute.
Old Navy let me down after never having my size, restocking it, then shipping the wrong item. I absolutely hate clothes shopping now.
Don't even comprehend how i used to sometimes enjoy a visit to the mall.
ugh.

My Valentine's Day
I spent the entire day alone and thoroughly enjoyed it.
First I went to breakfast and chatted with an old man at the loner bar in the restaurant, did a little shopping, and enjoyed the raindrops trickling down my skin...
then came the real satisfaction.
A candlelit bath with buddha watching over my naked body in absolute silence. It is so precious I am almost crying writing this.
When you are never ever completely alone, when that moment finally comes, it is almost hard to be blissful. I have to convince myself it is okay to have a pure, quiet moment.
I get so caught up in being a mama/teacher that I rarely take time to really breathe.
Here, I was free....

hoot hoot

jugs, titties, ta-tas, boobies, whatever name you fancy,
Plain and simple.
It is kind of my obsession, I would love to see everyone's, they amaze me.
I love knowing that no pair could ever be the same...
there are round ones, pointy ones, huge ones, small ones...
and nipples are the best of it all! for serious!
i want to do a photo project and make a mini-book on breasts.
They are so unique and I want to capture their vast beauty through my eyes.
Nursing your babies can change your breasts. Often times the nipples become stretched and more erect. Or feeding on one side more than the other can leave you with uneven breasts.
That's my story.
I would like to do a before and after breast feeding section for the book, too. This, I think, would be the most remarkable...
I proudly nursed my daughter and plan to do the same for any and all of my children.
It is only natural.
our path.
How beautiful it is to sustain a life through the suckling of a mother's breast!

you can LOOK, but you CAN'T TOUCH!

I took these photos last spring, and I have been dying to show this off...
I was hoping to show this piece in St. Louis, but I never got the chance!
I thought Naughti Gras would be the perfect audience, but since I'm no longer a St. Louisan, I was unable to enter it for the 2009 show, which is tomorrow, Valentine's Day.
The piece is in good hands and will hopefully be hanging on a West Coast wall in the near future.
Enjoy!
